Ingredients: allantoin, rosmarinic acid, mucilage and glycopeptide

Comfrey is mainly used externally for injuries such as bruises, strains, sprains, purulent wounds, weeping eczema and skin abrasions and bone fractures, usually in the form of compresses or poultices. The active ingredient allantoin promotes wound healing and tissue regeneration. Comfrey is said to have astringent, anti-inflammatory, decongestant and thus analgesic properties.

It is used internally in folk medicine for bronchitis, lung complaints, diarrhoea and stomach ulcers

The intestinal motor function can be regulated, cramps are relieved. Diarrhoea can often be significantly improved with comfrey. The content of mucilage also relieves dry irritating cough.

Dosage: externally 50g with 1l water boil, internally (horse 500 kg/lg) 30-50g powdered root best after infusion with water.

Caution! Please absolutely with all applications, thus internally like externally consider:

Comfrey must neither be overdosed nor used for a longer period of time (maximum 4 weeks per year), as the pyrrolizidines contained in traces are suspected of being carcinogenic. For this reason, internal use is often completely discouraged.

The pyrrolizidine alkaloids contained are harmful to the liver and are suspected of being carcinogenic.

Please limit all applications to 4 weeks a year!
