This bit is a good choice for horses with small mouths or large tongues, as the slight curve of the mouthpiece reduces nutcracker action and prevents the bit from coming into contact with the roof of the mouth. Firm olive heads help reduce vibration on the reins and give the horse a more stable feel. A single joint applies pressure to areas of the mouth. The thinner mouthpiece offers a slightly more powerful action, but is still mild enough to be used by beginners.

Made from stainless steel, the most common material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust. A great all-round bit suitable for many horses.
