Advantages of the thigh snaffle:

• due to the long legs (so-called toggles) of the snaffle, the influence from the outside on the horse's mouth is increased, this facilitates the contact with the outer rein
• the thigh snaffle has only a slight leverage effect, but this can be increased by the use of additional bars - which fix the upper thighs to the snaffle bridle
• the thigh snaffle is particularly suitable for training young horses and for lunge work

• chewing effect stimulates the formation of saliva
• the solid copper compound (90% copper, 7% iron + aluminium, nickel-free) has a high strength

The Stübben bits do not have any sharp edges that could injure the horse's mouth and guarantee a long durability due to selected materials. Special processing techniques reduce the knock-out of the joint connections of the bits.
