These gel bit washers are a valuable accessory for any snaffle bit. They provide a simple yet effective means of protecting the corners of the horse's mouth from bruising while gaining improved control over the bit. Moulded on the inside of the gel rings, the protectors fit softly against the corners of the horse's mouth, minimising the effects of friction and chafing. Due to their unique design, the gel washers keep the snaffle bit in a perfectly straight position at all times, making it easier to ride turns and making the horse respond more willingly and gently to rein aids. A real help when training young and difficult horses.
