Technology:

When the Cold Capsule ™ is frozen, small ice crystals form. When fully frozen, the pack is filled with small ice crystals that look and feel like soft flake snow, are malleable and conform to the horse's body.

As the pack freezes and ice crystals form, the pack expands slightly and must draw in air through the patented insert/bag vent. The vent is designed to resist the flow of liquid into or out of the insert.

The conversion of liquid to a solid that occurs during insert freezing extends the time that bags remain below freezing. The patented formula of the polymer granules eliminates the burning associated with raw ice.

Cold Capsule ™ inserts remain frozen for over two hours. After use, inserts can be refrozen. After long use, inserts become chunky - so you know when it's time to replace them.

WHEN USING ice horse® products, we recommend that you tie your horse securely and not leave it unattended.
