The Arctic Ice Boots are generously sized, flexible ice boots that provide good coverage of the intended area. Four elastic straps allow for flexible adjustment, which means they can be used anywhere on the horse's limb.

The unique Hypo-Freeze gel is housed in 24 separate pockets and hugs the limb to ensure maximum surface contact with tendons and joints. This gel is able to maintain an intense "Arctic" freezing effect for the optimal time needed for the cooling effect to work its magic.

Regular use of Arctic Ice Boots for short periods of time (20-30 minutes) after intense exercise for preventative purposes to ensure that ligaments, tendons and joints remain tight. The sooner the temperature of the tendons can be lowered after work, the better. This applies to high intensity dressage as well as canter, jumping and cross country riding.

Directions for use:
Place boots in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or overnight before use. Use the gel in short 20-30 minute sessions / several times a day in severe cases. Press firmly to shape the gel. Make sure straps are tightly closed but not over tightened.

Care and Management:
The use of ProIce Boots can prevent the occurrence of localized swelling and heat. The purpose of applying cold is to break the cycle of inflammatory response before cell damage occurs.
